We are open from 6:30am to 4:30pm from Monday to Thursday, and from 6:30am to 4:00pm on Friday. For your convenience, we are also open from 6:30am to 9:45am on Saturday mornings for pick-ups.

Countless everyday objects are constructed with sheet metal. We work with stainless steel, Colorbond, copper, aluminium, black steel and galvanised steel. Depending on the material, thicknesses range from .55mm to 12mm plate.

This is the safer option because in the event of a dodgy installation, their insurance will cover the costs rather than you having to dip into your pocket. From placement of order, the lead time is around one week and many tradesmen can have 60 square metres covered in just 2-3 days, ready to enclose if required.

BlueScope Steel also warrants that the paint system on COLORBOND® steel will not flake or peel due to natural weathering for a period of up to 20 years from the date of installation.
If you have decided to DIY, it is imperative that you use quality fasteners as there have been many serious cases of screw failures. We recommend using Buildex Class 4 or Class 5 roofing screws which are proven and superior fasteners that we ourselves have used for many years. Yes, we are able to finish your custom manufactured project by powder-coating it in the colour of your choice. We offer a variety of colours including the Colorbond colour range in case you need to match your project to your Colorbond roof, gutter, panel, or shed.
If you have a last-minute or emergency project, we can have it completed for you as soon as possible, depending on the complexity of it. We work closely with our clients to make sure we have their project finished by their deadline, but still to our usual high-quality standard.
Yes, we can deliver your roof or custom made sheetmetal items or arrange suitable freight. We also post custom made projects both nationally and internationally if you are not a Gold Coast local. Pick ups are also welcome, but only if the load can be legally carried.
We don’t install roofs and patios but we are able to refer you to the best local and licensed tradespeople to do so. We can however install custom manufactured items on large projects.
Yes, we have quality tooling on hand which allows us to shear, bend, weld, laser cut or punch the material of your choice.
Yes, we use 2 and 3D design software and can accept most file formats.
Yes, we have expert staff who have the know-how and skills to both design and build your custom project.
At Action, we regularly make one-off custom projects such as custom furniture pieces and gifts. We also do small production runs.
